New SCREEN roller shutter system from ANWIS

The Screen roller shutter system from Anwis is adapted to various installation methods, depending on individual needs or architectural situations. Combined with a rich collection of fabrics of various opening ratios (OF), it works perfectly not only as a cover for windows and large glazed areas. It can also be installed on verandas, pergolas or terraces.

Functional adaptation to any structure

In case of completed buildings, it is possible to mount SCREEN roller shutter in a window recess or on a facade. This type of mounting, combined with the flat back of the boxes and the possibility to use closed guides, is also ideal for self-supporting structures, such as garden pergolas. Recess mounting also allows the box to be mounted inverted (square or beveled - 45°). The guides together with the fabric are then located closer to the external plane of the structure to which the blind is attached. This allows aesthetic covering of windows located in a niche and, in the case of pergolas, also the maximum use of available space.

The SCREEN Anwis shutter system can also be flush-mounted, which makes it possible to hide structural elements of the roller shutter under the thermal insulation layer. For this purpose, a box with a specially profiled plaster carrier and under-plaster guides, fixed with an assembly profile, are used. In the place of installing the box to the wall, an XPS insulation layer (extruded polystyrene) is provided to protect the lintel against the formation of thermal bridges.

In order to better match the roller shutter with the architectural design, Anwis offers several sizes of boxes (95 mm, 105 mm, 125 mm) in various shapes: oval, square or bevelled - 45°. The construction of the roller shutter additionally allows the product to be made in large sizes, even up to 18 m².

Wind resistance confirmed by a certificate

The Anwis SCREEN roller shutter is available in two configurations: STANDARD - with side guides, in which the weighting strip is guided - and ZIP, where the fabric is additionally fixed in the guides using ZIP zipper technology. The second solution provides perfect protection of the curtain against strong wind. With the maximum size of the cover (6m x 3m), the roller shutter has class 3 wind resistance, according to the PN-EN 13561 standard. This means that it can be used in most areas of construction.

Compatible with architectural trends

Screen fabrics – made of fiberglass or polyester, coated with PVC - are resistant to external weather conditions, including UV radiation. Their composition also allows cleaning and rolling up the wet roller shutter.

Anwis collection includes 47 fabrics with several opening factors – OF 0%, 1%, 3%, 4%. Together with its increase, the degree of light penetration increases. The roller shutter with the value of OF 0% will provide full privacy and complete blackout. In the offer there are also 3 colors of ZIP lock (white, grey, black), matching the offered collection of fabrics.

Modern design and colouring of the fittings ensure adjusting the roller shutter to every architectural object. For this purpose Anwis introduced the collection of 15 colors: from white, beige or grey to anthracite, graphite and black. Roller shutters can also be made to individual order, based on the RAL color palette.

Modern control methods

All models of Anwis SCREEN roller shutters are equipped with electric control. It allows you to control a single roller blind or groups of roller shutters using a wall switch or RTS remote control. There is also a possibility to connect roller shutters to the weather automatics or a time programmer. An extremely functional solution is the use of a central building management system, equipped with a feedback function. It enables remote operation of roller shutters using applications on mobile devices (Android or iOS) connected to the Internet.
