The world has changed a great deal in the last two years. Megatrends such as energy efficiency, digitalisation and outdoor living are affecting how people live their lives. As a result, they need smart, energy-efficient homes and cosy, functional outdoor areas. Warema, the sun shading specialist, has some innovative new products that will fulfil all their wishes.
In light of climate change, sun shading is becoming ever more important. Efficient shading protects against overheating in the summer, while in the winter it channels the sun’s energy into the home. Design is another clear focal point. External venetian blinds with smart controls and Zetra 80 Z slats fit in perfectly with modern cubic architecture. Combined with the new A 37 shutter profile, they create a harmonious look for facades.
The WMS WebControl pro radio system doesn’t just save energy; it also maximises comfort and convenience. The iOS and Android app allows sun shading to be controlled intuitively from anywhere in the world. With its many automated functions, it also fulfils the desire for a smart home that requires little manual intervention. Residents feel great, sun shading changes automatically depending on the time of day, and simulated occupancy deters intruders effectively. Anyone wishing to integrate sun shading controls into their smart home can use the modular homee central control unit to bundle numerous applications – such as light, heating and security for various radio standards – in one app. Warema assigns each standard a cube (for example, red for WMS) that can be easily incorporated into the system.
The Pure roller blind has been optimised to meet all requirements for price-sensitive properties. It is available in sizes M, L and XL; in addition to the handle option, size M is available with a ball chain or motor. SeaTex fabric is a sustainable solution consisting of 50% recycled ocean plastic.
Knowing that people want to spend as much time as possible outdoors and that outdoor gastronomy has become incredibly important for business owners, Warema is expanding its range of slat roofs. The Lamaxa L 50 is available with aluminium slats, fabric blinds or glass roofing as well as optional side shading, radiant heaters and LED lighting. The modern roof system is suitable as a free-standing option, can be connected to a wall or used in series-mounted units and star systems.
