Technical and Test Institute for Construction Prague (TZÚS Praha) is one of the largest testing and certification organizations in the Czech Republic. The institute is an internationally recognized provider of comprehensive services in the field of conformity assessment of construction and other products and is a major partner of manufacturers, importers, designers and constructors, as well as of public administration, research and development. TZÚS Praha is also a member of many national and international organizations and an active participant in the process of technical regulations and standards creation. The institute is appointed by the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic as an expert institution in the construction industry.The Technical and Test Institute for Construction Prague has its own accredited testing laboratories, which can be found in its regional offices. The laboratories offer, among others, testing in the field of fixtures and fitting for building openings; the list of accredited test procedures can be found here.The results presented by the laboratories are primarily used as a basis for product certification, but they can also serve as tests certifying only certain features of the products in a non-accredited mode. The services provided by Technical and Test Institute for Construction Prague are used by customers from the Czech Republic, European Union member states and third countries.
