Saint-Gobain has been awarded the 2017 Grand Prix V.I.E. Entreprises in the 'Large Corporation' category. For the second year in a row, Business France*, MEDEF*, the Confédération des Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France* and Club V.I.E. have held this event to promote the French Volunteering for International Experience program and to encourage more companies to offer V.I.E. placements to recent graduates. Saint-Gobain was in particular singled out for having tripled its number of V.I.E. placements since 2014 (from 37 to 120) and by increasing the number of women (53% in 2016). The rise in the number of V.I.E. interns being offered a position at the end of their assignment was also a determining criterion. We are very proud to have been presented with this award honoring us just as we have rolled out our new employer brand that has added a new dimension to our Human Resources policy. The V.I.E program is an opportunity to promote one of the four priorities of this policy, namely, the identification and development of talent. We owe this award to the unfailing effort made by our businesses to strengthen and optimize our V.I.E. program, which now involves more than 25 countries, said Claire Pedini, Senior Vice President in charge of Human Resources. * agency supporting the international development of the French economy* national confederation of French employers * French association of foreign trade consultants
