Shape and material are key: the new rebate gaskets and centre gaskets for Schüco aluminium windows significantly improve the fabrication process. The inner rebate gasket can be easily inserted into the intended groove with dimensional accuracy, while the optimised centre gasket can be installed without the need for adhesives or sealants. The new Schüco GP 100 gasket cutting machine provides accurate cutting for an efficient and reliable fabrication process.
Optimised geometry and material characteristics of the rebate and centre gaskets offer significant advantages for fabrication. The fibre core-reinforcing cord thread inside the Schüco AWS rebate gasket ensures dimensional stability. The material TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) is used in the centre gasket.
The advantage of this is that the centre gasket, in particular the corner piece, no longer has to be fixed using an adhesive or sealant. The forgiving fabrication concept makes it possible to achieve excellent air, wind and water values which can be reproduced. Achieving an optimal gasket result also largely depends on the cut. The new Schüco GP 100 machine was developed for this purpose.

Mistakes when cutting the centre gasket by hand during fabrication can lead to a permanent lack of weathertightness in the window. This in turn can lead to a high number of complaints. The new Schüco GP 100 gasket cutting machine can solve this issue.
This compact machine is fast, simple and dependable, ensuring an efficient and reliable process for preparing and cutting to length gaskets that are supplied by the metre. Data can be transferred manually, via the machine terminal, or using a handheld scanner via a QR code from the material list in SchüCal.
