Schüco Polymer Technologies KG is using a virtual exhibition tour to present its product innovations and online tools that would have been unveiled at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE in Nuremberg. The 360° tour enables you to learn online about new ideas and products from Schüco. www.schueco.com/polymer_highlights

Using the theme of “Home is everything”, the web special brings to life pioneering PVC-U windows, entrance doors and sliding doors. The stand, originally designed for the exhibition, and its exhibits can be explored as part of a 360° tour of the exhibition, just as if you were really there. Integrated videos, detailed written product descriptions, contextual displays and profile section details make the exhibition tour into a really informative experience. The stand is divided into the SERVICE area and three product areas: PANORAMA, VIEW and ARRIVAL. You select an area in the navigation section at the top and then you can quickly discover the relevant highlights and exhibits.

The SERVICE area shows the comprehensive range of services provided by Schüco Polymer Technologies KG, in particular the digital solutions. These include Schüco PolyCal, a new window design software co-developed with Orgadata, with which Schüco PVC-U windows, doors and sliding doors can be calculated and fabricated easily and efficiently. Another innovation is the Schüco PolyWeb online platform, which can be used to plan and calculate special PVC-U building units easily and efficiently. Further highlights are PlanToBuild, the cross-trade project management software for construction work, and Plan. One, the comparison portal for building products. New machinery is also on show here, such as the DF-100 gasket milling machine and the GLF-100 glazing bead milling machine.

In the PANORAMA area, the focus is on extremely narrow profile face widths and large glazed areas combined with comfort and high-quality design. The new Schüco LivIngSlide options are explained here, for example in combination with zero-level thresholds and concealed electronic drives. A Schüco LivIngSlide vent profile is also displayed with a narrow face width of just 72 mm, an outstanding measurement for PVC-U lift-and-slide systems. In addition, the company presents the new Schüco SoftSlide sliding system as well as Schüco EasySlide, the next generation of lift-and-slide system. This completes the range of PVC-U sliding systems and provides suitable solutions to meet the needs of every client.

Schüco offers prefabricated “threshold kits” that allow partners to fabricate these Panorama Design lift-and-slide doors quickly and efficiently, and these are available to order now.

In the VIEW area, you can discover the new Schüco Symbiotic design window system. It combines the two Schüco materials, aluminium and PVC-U, and is characterised by narrow face widths and a puristic, angular design. The aluminium on the outside is coloured using powder coating, whilst a selection of different foils are available for the PVC-U profile facing the interior of the building. In terms of smart solutions for windows, an energy self-sufficient, radio-controlled system for monitoring closing and a digital window with a QR code are also on display. The code takes the user to an app with various functions that allows, for example, maintenance work to be initiated. Comfort and health are addressed by zero-level thresholds for turn/tilt and double-vent units in the Schüco LivIng series; Schüco VentoTherm Twist, the window-integrated ventilation solution; and Schüco Integralmaster, the internal sun shading system.

The ARRIVAL area features entrance doors in combination with Schüco DCS SmartTouch and Schüco BlueCon. The new Schüco DCS (Door Control System) SmartTouch combines audio-visual door communication with easy-to-use, secure access control. The system brings together a camera, doorbell and access control in a single module with a stylish design. All of the components are commissioned and controlled via the new Schüco app. The Schüco BlueCon access control module uses Bluetooth technology to enable you to use your smartphone to operate your entrance door without a key. The module, which is concealed in the door rebate, checks access authorisation when a person approaches the door. The Schüco BlueCon app can be used to open the door automatically or manually, depending on the settings. Access authorisations can be set individually, flexibly and for specific people.
