New multi-function POLFLAM® glass

Today’s construction glass has almost unlimited possibilities, including safety of people and assets. It can be both barrier to fire and resistant to impact load, that is, protect against burglary. More and more frequently, we find it combine a number of functions. Fire-resistant glazed walls are often applied wherever another type of protection is needed as well, e.g., protection against burglary. The walls may acquire such particular functionality through sealing with a glass sheet of relevant properties. The new POLFLAM® fire-resistant glass of an increased safety class (P) is an example of such a multi-function product. » POLFLAM®: new-scale capabilities POLFLAM® fire-resistant glass sealed to a glass sheet of an increased safety class meets the requirements of the PN-EN 356 standard.The technology of the new POLFLAM® product allows for getting glass units of attractive weight and thickness and very good light transmittance (Lt) and sound control (Rw) parameters, being offered at competitive prices. POLFLAM laminated multiple-glazed glass is available in the resistance classes from P1 to P7.Maximum dimensions of a glass sheet of an increased safety class can reach as much as 2400 x 5000 mm. The glass is applied in floors, display windows, and in doors, windows and facades. All laminates can also be made with low-emission, solar-control film available in the market, etc.» Non-compromise quality The quality of POLFLAM® products is a priority at any stage of the production process. The glass that combines the functions of fire-resistance and burglary-safety is manufactured from scratch at POLFLAM factory, the company having an in-house lamination oven. The latter allows for having control of the entire technology process, which is of utmost importance for products related with protection and safety. In the lamination process of the glass of an increased safety class, thermo hardening film is used of the best available parameters: durable, weatherproof and with the UV filter. Like float glass used for POLFLAM® products, also the multi-function glass has unique optic properties.
