Facade builder Hupfeld & Schlöffel Metallbau GmbH is very happy about the new machining centre RAPID ALUSTAR.The tasks for the new machine were clearly defined: with the second Alustar, the technological and automatic processes as well as the information exchange with the production planning have to become even more efficient.The new concept has been realized by RAPID engineers in three main steps:» In order to optimize the in-house logistics, the machine dimensions and the position of the new Alustar have been adapted in millimeter-precision to the available space conditions as well as to the newly defined working flow. The tunung of the monitoring and transportation systems of the multifunctional center, which has been developed in close collaboration with the customer, ensure more process reliability;» The new generation of control technology significantly accelerates the automatic work steps and increases the added value of production;» Within the development of the new visualization special customer wishes were realized. With a new software solution, production planning can calculate job-related values in advance and work more precisely and more efficiently. On the new 18.5-inch multitouch-capable screen with aspect ratio 16:9, a modern ergonomically improved working is possible.
