Poland is the largest exporter of woodwork among EU countries and the second, right after China, exporter of windows and doors in the world.
Only in 2017, the joinery worth 1.87 billion EUR was exported from Poland. Polish windows are particularly valued in Germany, Italy and Great Britain. At the end of this year ,the luxury Compass Apartments in London, will be equipped with Polish joinery.
The investment located near Canary Wharf, the business center of the city, will be the real showpiece of this modern district and the first building project with windows and doors delivered by Hensfort brand on the British market.
Compass Apartments is a stylish collection of nine; one-, two- and three-room, high quality apartments, that use the full light and space to create a perfect city-home. Individually finished apartments have been designed to take full advantage of contemporary lifestyle. The clue of the whole project is the location that allows to keep work-life balance.
After becoming one of the leading sellers of Polish joinery in Italy, the Czech Republic, France or Germany, Britain is a natural export direction for Hensfort.
We feel the satisfaction that our clients are going to have the opportunity to look through our windows also in London - especially in such a unique location.
Says Paweł Zatorski, Commercial Director at Hensfort.
The project for Compass Apartments is not the first manufacturer's implementation for English-speaking markets. Last year Hensfort exported PVC products to the USA.
Surely, both markets are very competitive, but we have no doubt that our quality and potential will guarantee our long-term success.
Adds Paweł Zatorski.
Aluminum windows exporters noted the highest growth in 2017. It is estimated that around 70% of metal windows manufactured in Poland have been sold on foreign markets.
We are more than happy that our partners export activites are part of this trend.
Comments Jacek Meller, Sales Director at Ponzio, one of the largest manufacturers of aluminum building systems in Europe.
Poland is the undisputed export leader of window frames in Europe. The export activity of producers from other countries are much lower. The strong position of the Polish industry is the result of the activities of both large window manufacturers as well as very active and positive approach of Polish distributors on the foreign markets.
