Schüco Polymer Technologies KG has withdrawn its attendance of FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2022 exhibition.
In the midst of an industrial raw material supply crisis, the company is strictly focusing its capacity on measures and projects that will allow it to overcome these challenges together with its partner companies as best it can.
Schüco has exhibited at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, the world's leading exhibition for windows, doors and façades in Nuremberg, for many years now. It is with a heavy heart that the company has decided not to have a stand at the 2022 event due to the raw material supply crisis.
Markus Herbst, Spokesman for the Executive Management Board of Schüco Polymer Technologies KG, explains: During this challenging time, we are focusing on our core business for our partner companies, and are using all available resources to do this. Tying up capacity for months in order to prepare for an exhibition would not be a wise thing to do at the moment.
The entire team in Weißenfels is therefore continuing to work flat out to keep any disturbances to partner companies' business as low as possible. Furthermore, in recent months we have also invested in new extrusion and foiling equipment, as well as high-performance tools for PVC-U profile fabrication. We will continue with these measures with the aim of significantly increasing production capacity at the site in Weißenfels. What's more, the logistics area was recently extended, with 10,000 m² of open space and 6000 m² of warehouse space. This will further optimise logistical processes and also provide more flexibility in terms of stockpiling. With this and everything else in mind, the company is doing everything it can to tackle this crisis.
The innovations in residential construction which should have been presented at the 2022 exhibition will be shown to business partners in alternative formats in person and digitally at an appropriate time.
At the moment, Schüco is planning to return to FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024 as an exhibitor.
